How to prepare
- Avoid tanning and direct sun exposure for several weeks before treatment
- Do not use self-tanner on the treatment area
- Tell us about photosensitizing medications, recent procedures and any change in your medical history
- Arrive with clean skin; avoid irritating actives as directed
What to expect
- A bright flash and brief snapping or warming sensation are common
- Redness and mild swelling may occur
- Pigmented spots often darken temporarily before flaking or fading over 1–2 weeks
Aftercare
- Use SPF 30+ diligently and avoid direct sun
- Do not pick or scrub darkened spots
- Avoid heat, vigorous exercise and irritating actives until skin is calm
- Use gentle cleanser and moisturizer
